Over 400 bunkers are hidden in the Waterleidingduinen, each with its own story and former function. During the bunker walk, the guide will tell you more about some of these bunkers. He can also tell you exactly which bunkers you can still visit.
During this fascinating walking route of about an hour and a half, we'll discover many of these concrete colossuses, part of the famous Atlantic Wall, built by the Germans along the entire Western European coast. These bunkers are worth seeing and are often beautifully hidden in the dunes.
Please be aware that you will be going off-path, sturdy footwear is recommended and the walk is not suitable for those with walking difficulties.
The walk starts at the Dune restaurant on the edge of the dunes, Zandvoortselaan 130.
